(More) Sidewalks of New York

To New York City

I was in lower Manhattan for a meeting and remembered my camera. These photos are from a rainy morning a week ago.

Quiet and rainy weekend ahead. Today I am going upstate to attend a memorial mass for the mother of one of my colleagues. My only plan for Sunday is to get my hair colored. I'm going to be totally spontaneous on Sunday afternoon and find some little adventure. Any suggestions?

Rode past the movie site last night and all the bunting and decorations have been taken down and it was just a street in Greenpoint once again.

Wishes for a wonderful weekend!

Dear Buttercup,
Thank you for always stopping by to see me. I have been catching up on your posts. I am sorry about your ankle...how was it hurt on an hot air balloon...did you crash...did you jump out...my sister would like me to go on a hot air balloon ride with her but I am terrified of flying and I just don't know if I could do it in a little wicker bucket........if my kids were in trouble I would sprout wings and fly myself if I had too....thank you for the pictures of new york and the filming area....
You lead an interesting life....
I love the regis and kelly show...I watch it every morning.
let me know what you did with your free time
hugs

Dear Buttercup,
I am Debbie's Sister. Thanks so much for visiting my Country Wings in Phoenix. She is right, I do so want to take a hot air balloon ride over the desert. One of these mornings my husband and I are going to do just that. I see them going over the mountains all the time. Now how did you hurt your ankle, because if there is a trick to something I certainly want to know before I take on a balloon ride. Loved your pics of the filming. I am like you, I would be photographing every day. I am a GOV employee and design web courses. I am always looking for pics to use in my courses. Thanks for sharing with me, and for stopping by. Sending you "Country Hugs" from Country Wings in Phoenix, Sherry

Hmmm...you want a little adventure on Sunday...I don't know what to suggest other than GO TRAIN CHASING or hang a birdseed bell up somewhere or scout around to find the next location where they are shooting a film...my ideas are not too exciting though, hunh?

What color are you dyeing your hair?
