Pedicure Pink Saturday: Let's Talk Toes

Do you choose pink for pedicures?

If not pink, what's your color of choice?

I got the idea for this Pink Saturday post yesterday afternoon. I stopped into my local nail salon to make an appointment for a pedicure later in the week and the array of bright polishes caught my eye. I decided it was time to get a direction on my color choice for my upcoming pedicure. Help me choose my next color.

I have been going with darker colors -- my toes are a deep wine color now -- and generally I choose a deep gray or navy. It may not be what you might have expected for Buttercup. I'm the exact opposite when I got my twice a year manicure and go with "Ballet Slippers," an almost sheer pink that I've been told is also Queen Elizabeth's choice.

But those bright pink colors above really caught my eye and I'm thinking of going just wild with one of these colors. Are you manicure fan? Is pink or red your choice, or do you go for a less conventional color? Does anyone choose one of the metallic looks and get gold or silver polish? Let's talk toes!

After twenty-four hours of an aching arm and feeling tired from my booster, I felt fine on Saturday morning. Not knowing how I'd feel I hadn't scheduled anything, but the weekend turned out to be fun and busy. The weather was glorious and New York City is happening again. I've got three posts to share this week about my weekend activities. Tomorrow I've got a very fun Monkey Monday post that will be a great way to get the week started. Please stop by!

As ever, thanks for visiting and wishes for a great week.

I love the pink colors, but I don't often paint my nails or get pedicures. I don't like the feel of the nail polish on my nails. So glad to hear that you got your Covid booster and are feeling OK. I am fine now two, after a few hours of being sore, achy and very tired. Glad you found a good local pharmacy. So important. My husband went to a large Walgreens for his Covid booster and he said he will never go back to Walgreens again. I got mine at CVS and had a much better experience. Have a great week! See you again soon.

I go for deeper shades of pink in the fall. There are many to choose from. I've never had a manicure or a pedicure I didn't give myself, but it would be wonderful. I just usually do it myself. Thanks for the reminder today, that I need to do that soon!

I almost always go with a red or purple. I love getting my toes done but rarely a mani bc it always seems to come off so easily.

You should do with a color that makes you happy! Your toes will be covered up when you go out because of the weather, but underneath you know that you have happy toes!

Love the pinks and reds . . . on other people. I am polish-free. It seems all I can do is keep nails trimmed and healthy due to some chronic conditions.

I love light neutral pinks or very light bright pinks in summer. This fall I'm going with Reds, perhaps I will go back to Pink if I get to go on a warm getaway this winter.. I never seem to find time to get to the nail salon, I guess after these two years, literally inside, it's been difficult to feel like going anywhere, to sit and have the patience to let the polish dry.. Love pink always..
