I'm Dreaming of a Twin Wash System

I learned several things on my trip to Australia. I need more than an hour to make international connections in a major airport. I will be delighted with places and events that were barely a blip in my consciousness before the trip. Any trip that includes 108 degree weather will guarantee a mountain of dirty clothes when I get home.

As much as I love my apartment, it's one major flaw is the lack of a washer/dryer. Yes, there's one in the basement, but it's not the same as doing wash whenever you like without leaving my apartment. When I moved into this apartment over twenty-five years ago our building didn't accommodate in-apartment washers. That has changed and now I would need major renovations to permit access to water. Instead I dream about having a washing machine and a dryer.

I have now found my perfect choice -- the LG Front Load Twin Wash System.  I especially like the ability to do a small load in the Sidekick Pedestal Washer while doing a larger load up top in the LG Front load washer. Like my LG air conditioner, the system is energy efficient, cutting down on electric bills. It's still a fantasy for me, but not for everyone. From now until April 25, receive up to $500 off an LG laundry solution for your home. With this beauty I might even plan another trip that would produce a mountain of laundry. It would be easy/peasy.

As ever, thanks for visiting and sharing my laundry dreams. I hope you're having a great weekend!

Washers and Dryers have become so much more efficient throughout the years. It would be a real joy to have a pair in your apartment. Funny too how much times have changed.
This is a great review. Tank you for sharing Carol. It is so good to see you here.

I hope you get this comment, Carol! I'm having trouble with my comments going through. UGH! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for reading about my beautiful Mom. Losing her has been so tough, but knowing where she is helps me get up in the morning and face another day.

I remember the days without a washer and dryer in our apartment. Very difficult. We just got rid of a ten year old set and now have an energy saver one. Hmmmm...not sure how I'm liking it yet.

Thanks for visiting me and for your very kind words. They mean so much more than you can know.

My washer and dryer are over 15 years old and will need replacing soon. I might look into this one.

What is life without a dream? Answer: boring.

When I moved I found a place that came with a washer and dryer. It si a blessing. Except for a short time when I first married, I've always had my own in house laundry. Hope you do get yours. You will love it.

Nice system - mine are so sold - they are dinosaurs.

My new Condo has a wash and dryer in the same machine which is new for me, and a rules of apartment use that says no drying of clothes on the balconies - not that this is especially easy in 100% humidity. Yes you're right wash day dramas are the bain of most women's lives! Hope you have emerged from your pile of washing by now!

Carol, My washer/dryer are in the basement here. I would dearly love to have them on the same floor we live in. I tell my children now, if I were raising kids again....I would have a washer and two dryers. LOL. That would make a household run so smoothly. There's newer types of washer/dryer combination on the market now. I know any would be welcomed if you could get it put in easily. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

It sure sounds like it would be convenient for you to have one. This is an old house and ours is on the porch, stacked, it ties into the kitchen sink somehow. I think it uses the same drain, but it is on the other side of the wall from it. Every window was missing on this porch when we got it, so it was like doing laundry in a dust storm. If I forgot to wipe down the washer or dryer before doing the laundry everything would be soiled again. Glad we fixed that! xoxo Su
