Good Afternoon Carol, I under stand your feelings as sadly my father died at the age of 63 years as well.
But they both will live on in our hearts.
Best Wishes
Daphne
i'm glad you father lives on in your heart and can be remembered on a day like this.
It's a great day to be thankful for our Fathers! Where would be be if not for them! Hope your Sunday is a wonderful one!
How lucky we were to have our fathers. Big hugs today Carol. xo
A precious photo of a most adorable baby girl with her daddy looking lovingly at her! so sweet!
When you get older, you realize how young 63 actually is and you feel like you were cheated out of having loved ones in your life such a short time.
I lost my Father when I was very young. I miss having a dad around on Father's day too. Be blessed!
Such a precious picture, Carol! I am glad your father continues to live in your heart :)
Hugs and love!
Dear Carol. I understand how you feel. It has been forty one years since my dad passed away and he is always in my heart.
I hope you are doing well. Thank you for visiting my friend. Blessings dear. Catherine xo
Gosh, but this picture speaks volumes about love ... your dad defines the word "proud", doesn't he?
My own dad was but 69 when he passed in Dec. '81. Isn't ours an awful sorority?
Still, we have the memories that no-one can take away!
Hugs,
Myra
I understand! My Mama passed away at 63 also. My Daddy was 84 and I miss them both terribly! Hugs to you sweet friend, hope you are feeling better!
Carol this is a beautiful post about your Father. I love the picture you shared with us.
I too lost my father at 63 in 1988. He holds such a dear place in my heart and I know how you miss your dad.
I think of you often but am bad about blogging. I keep hoping I get better at visiting with my friends like you that I miss a lot.
Hope you are well.
Love
Maggie
Carol, I don't think we ever stop missing our parents, once they are gone. That's why I encourage those that still have their parents to love them and hug them every chance they get. We have our memories and that helps us through.Take care. Enjoy those morning cups of coffee.xoxo,Susie
Yes, that is young! We are almost that age! My dad lived longer but was out of my life - - - long story. However, he was a great dad when he was younger before alcohol consumed him.
