I Wish I Was in Arizona...

...for many reasons. I'd love to see my Arizona blogger friends. I'd love to be in a warmer place, and not walking home from the bus in the snow. But I really want to be in Arizona to see Neil Myers' paintings in person.

Please note that this work is copyrighted.

I really enjoy tooting a horn for my blog buddies, and tonight I'm happy to cheer on a Facebook friend. Neil posted the announcement of his exhibition in Scottsdale and I became an instant fan. I love the Arizona desert and his work beautifully reflects the colors and mood. When I look at this painting I'm not in snowy New York City, but in warm and lovely Arizona. I thank Neil for so generously letting me share this painting, and folks in Phoenix, you've got a treat in store.

Keeping with the Arizona theme, our book chat tomorrow is by one of my favorite Arizona bloggers and takes place in one of my favorite places, Sedona.

Once again, I'm happy to link to Beverly's Pink Saturday. I had such a good time last week that I didn't want to miss the fun this week. Thanks for a fun party!

Wishes for a pretty-in-pink Saturday!

Oh Carol, a book set in Sedona, I will come back to read that chat. I can see why you admire Neil's paintings.

Oh, I wish you were here, as well! (Our welcome mat's always out!)

While I'm more a fan of art photography, your friend's work did prompt me to take a second look!

...For now, my mind's all consumed, trying to guess tomorrow evening's book reveal! :)

Funny you should mention Arizona. I was just thinking today that this would have been a good week to be out of Michigan and in Arizona where I am sure it was warm and not snowing. Enjoy your weekend.

Such pretty colors are a sight for sore eyes in the winter time. I look out and see very little of it when the snow covers everything. Thanks for brightening up my day.

That desert painting has a unique perspective. It shows a richness that isn't often seen.

I love Arizona! I'd love to more there but...well, my grandbabies are here. I've visited three times and felt better every time. Natives are quick to remind me I was there in May each time so I didn't really feel the heat of summer.

I hear from my nephew's family that Sedona is one of their favorite places to visit. They currently live in Albuquerque, NM.

I'm still reading "One Simple Act," by Debbie Macomber.

Have a great Saturday!

I'd love a shot of sunshine right about now - we don't see much of it up here in the Pacific Northwest at this time of year. The colours in the painting are gorgeous, and while I've never been to Arizona, I have an idea that this is really what it must be like. Thanks for following - nice to meet you!
