Attention: All Crafters in Buttercupland

The lovely blogger Melissa at Crafting from the Heart is doing a fabulous end-of the-year giveaway. One of the gifts is a $150.00 gift certificate to Michaels and that is only one part of the giveaway. There are a few major, wonderful craft things that the winner will receive. The giveaway is open until January 1. Besides the possibility of a great win -- my year would be off to a terrific start -- there are some wonderful craft ideas. One of my hopes for next year will be to do more paper craft and I know I will be stopping by to visit Melissa often.

I'd love to be able to be a more proficient at sewing or knitting, but alas these are just not my talents. But if I was I would make this cute little gingerbread lady to brighten up my apartment. I know there are some talented citizens of Buttercupland. What crafts are you working on for Christmas and Chanukah?

I'm happy to be home and cozy. It was a chilly walk home from the subway, so I'm going to have a cup of tea and do some visiting.

Wishes for a sweet evening and sweet dreams.

I was a Floral Designer for a while. Did the craft show circuit and weddings back then. Haven't made anything in years. But I'm always coming up with new ideas even though I don't implement them. LOL Cooking is my hobby these days. I LOVE Michaels, though. So much fun in there. Sounds like a GREAT giveaway. I can't sew or knit either. But I did do candlewicking at one point. Still have the unfinished projects in the closet. From over 30 years ago. I'm not in a BIG hurry, can you tell? Take care.

I just started up knitting again after many, many years -- I'm no expert at all, but I know enought to knit scarves for each member of my family. Good luck on your learnin'. :)

What a cute little gingerbread man!
I have been busy sewing, I have made a set of pj's for my grandson and a pretty flannel gown for my granddaughter and a pj pants for their dad, my son-in-law. I have made a couple of scarves, also. I have another set of pj's pants, a gown and another scarf to make before I am through. I can't knit either, I have tried, but sadly I had to give up.
Hugs, Cindy
