March Madness

For most people the words "March Madness" mean only one thing...the NCAA basketball games taking place now. I do like college basketball, so I am following the "Madness." Go UConn!

I witnessed a different form of March Madness at the cafe a block from my building. The sidewalk tables are out and even though it was barely fifty today -- down 20 degrees from the glorious high of seventy+ yesterday -- folks were enjoying being outside. I needed gloves today and that's my line between eating outside and inside. I don't do outside when I have to wear gloves. But any day now I'll be joining these folks eating outside. I can hardly wait!

Hope you're having a sunny and bright weekend!

Hubs is watching the games this very moment. Me, I have been in my sewing room today, happily sewing away. It has been raining cats and dogs for a few days here in Northern Cal and the 10 day forecast shows rain all the way into next Sunday. But to me all that means is some gorgeous spring green and gorgeous spring flowers...eventually :)
Have a wonderful week.

I'm with you - glove weather and I'm inside - how nice you get to see New York in or outside.

Yeah, we're had 70 yesterday and tomorrow we're getting snow showers.

Good luck with that. Reading your post makes me realize how spoiled we are here in So. Cal. However, we have had colder weather than usual at times this winter.

Hop over to my blog when you can. I have a question for you I need answered.
Hugs, Grammy

When the sun is out I can sit on my patio in the back of the house and it's always nice and warm even in the 50's. It's more protected as the front of the house gets the wind. When summer comes and it's hotter you have to wait till evening time to sit out as then it's too hot. I hope your Sunday is a great one!

We ate lunch outside at work today. The sun was almost too hot to enjoy being out there very long.
