I'll be here in just about 36 hours, but who's counting?
Thanks all, for your terrific support for my healthy eating. This is about the time I start to get frustrated that my progress isn't going faster and just go off to eat anything I want, generally with lots of sugar and salt. Today's "vices" included spinach, carrots, banana and grapes and no diet soda. No matter what the scale says tomorrow, I know I ate well today.
I'm going to get the new chip for my camera tomorrow and promise lots of wonderful pictures when I get back from the North Country.
I can barely wait! I came back from lunch today and thought it was Wednesday and started pushing the buttons on the phone madly to dial into a conference call...24 hours early. I've started to get organized, including having my passport ready for our trip to Canada.

Tonight I wanted something light, so I ate:
A boiled egg
a sliced tomato
2 slices of colby jack cheese
some wheat crackers
Then I covered it all in Ranch dip and followed it with M&M's.
sigh....

Keep up the good eating, but don't forget to have fun too. Have a great trip and can't wait to see the pictures and read the story.
We are counting down too. And looking at all our fresh veggies from the Farmer's Market. There is corn galore for corn chowder and salad dinners. We have zucchini for pancakes with lemon aioli. There are fresh cherry tomatoes for a yellow and green bean salad with feta. Lean chicken on the grill eaten on the deck looking at the water. It will be healthy and if the weather holds al fesco. Hurry up.

I think we all need one of those Mary Lou Reton scales...it does not tell what you weight, it just says whether you lost or gained and gives advise if you did gain...like drink more water and such. My sister got one off of QVC. She has lost 30 lb's!!
March on to Vacationland, and send word back home to the troops, who wait to hear your tales of glory in the sun!

Keep up the healthy eating. I am taking it ounce by ounce b/c of my thyroid issues. It takes a long time, but over 6 months those ounces add up.
