And the Voice of the Ice Cream Truck is Heard in our Land

I was going to offer this post with my apologies to the Song of Solomon, but realized no apologies are needed. I am in synch with this homage to the coming of spring, but with a very different twist. As I emerged from the subway tonight I saw trees in magnificent bloom; it's Opening Day for the Mets and on the corner of West 87th Street I saw the first Mr. Softee Truck of the season. Not quite the words of scripture, but with the full arrival of spring we blessedly survive another winter.

Well Hello Buttercup! THanks for stopping by. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only person who cries at Hallmark commercials.

I LOVE your blog! I spent some time here this afternoon. I visited NY 2 winters ago...was totally lost most of the time, but enjoyed every second. I can't wait to go back. One of my associates wants us to plan a trip this summer!
I would love to visit when it wasn't so cold!
Have a wonderful week~ come back anytime!

The first "ice cream truck" sighting of Spring! I love it! It is truly a harbinger of warm days!

We don't see many ice cream trucks around here. The only ones that come around are the Schwan's company, which actually you have to be on their list to have them stop by your house once every 2 weeks. They carry ice cream products and frozen foods/dinners on their trucks.

I am so happy that spring is finally here and looking forward to still warmer weather. So thankful too that another winter has passed.

Hugs and blessings,
Stacey
