It's Opening Day

This isn't quite Citi Field, where the Mets will play, but it seemed appropriate for the season and today is opening day for the Mets. The Yankees home opening day is Thursday and there's lots of baseball excitement in New York.
I am a Yankee fan and have been for a long time, but like the Mets, too. My office has had some involvement with the planning of both stadiums, so this is a most long awaited day.
Lots of luck to the Mets on their opener and lots of good wishes dear blog friends for a great week!

Our opening day is today as well. Our first game (if I can get someone to trade me a shift) will be May 15th. I can't wait! Baseball fever has swept us up in it grasp again! Enjoy!!!

Well, you learn something new every day. I thought New York had one team, the Yankees. Football is king out here...baseball doesn't get much press...

Ohio is quite a big sports state too. Football seems to be the big one, but so doesn't basketball and baseball too. I am not sure when the Reds or Indians opening days are. Being from the southern part of Ohio, I grew up around the Reds, but now that I live in the northern part of Ohio, all I hear about are those Indians.

Have a great week too. We are getting a lot of rain this week, but at least it is not snow. Thank you dear Lord! :)

Hugs and blessings,
Stacey
