This Blog is Temporarily Interrupted by a Technical Glitch

I sat down at the computer a little while ago to do my Random 5 Friday post. I've been making notes and taking pictures all week and was all set for blogging. I reached for my wireless mouse and nothing. Nada, nothing, nothing. My guess is that it just needs new batteries, which would necessitate a trip beyond these cozy walls into the dark and cold night. I can use my computer like a tablet and use its touch screen and that's what I'm doing now. What I can't seem to do is double click to link up with my friends at Random 5. I'll go into Best Buy on Monday and confer with my friends at the Geek Squad. I have every faith they will get my mouse up and clicking.

In the interim I am sharing a picture of today's lunch cappuccino. I thought it was one of the prettiest cups of coffee I've seen in a long time. It wasn't my order, but I think I'll return to the same neighborhood café to order cappuccino and see what the next coffee creation will be.

It was a sweet day in New York City today. The temperature was above freezing. There wasn't much slush in the streets and the coffee and friendship were terrific. Can't ask for much more.

I hope your day was just as sweet and the week ahead holds many happy surprises.

As ever, thanks for visiting. Take good care and enjoy the evening.

Do you know if the mouse has a light on the back? Mine does.(it is blue) If you do not see the light I think you are right and need a new battery in the mouse. I always keep a huge box in the house for exactly that problem. But once you are in for the night I do not blame you for not leaving. Perhaps a neighbor has one you can borrow. That lunch cappuccino looked lovely.

So sorry about your mouse, but I'll check in with you Mon. re Random 5. Glad you had better weather for coffee with a friend today. Your comment re the beads....can't you just see my 6 cats scattering beads in all directions? Enjoy a cozy evening safe inside.

How do they do that to the cappuccino? My mouse will stop working when it needs a new battery. I hope the problem with yours is an easy fix.

Yes, my guess is your little mouse is out of cheese, excuse me, batteries. I have a green light on the bottom of mine and when that isn't lit, it's time to change the batteries. Love that lovely coffee creation, blue and brown, one of my favs. We will be in the 50's sometime this week, hoorah!!

My hubby had trouble with his mouse and then it miraculously came back to life! I don't use a mouse so it is one less thing I have to deal with in a non tech pro world! I have a tough time figuring lots of these things out. Ah, such is life. I hope you get your mouse back to business soon! Stay safe and warm.

I have seen people make those beautiful cups of coffee and I am always in awe of their talent.

Sometimes you need to feed your mouse. Try removing the battery, wiping off the connection, and putting it back in. Sometimes that will give you a little more use from the mouse.
