It's Now September 25...

...and we're at Martha Stewart! And yes, it was as much fun as we anticipated. We learned to cook fancy eggs, saw a fashion show, cooked lamb chops (and saw how to turn rack of lamb into perfect little lamb chops), saw a video of Martha's fabulous gardens at her house in Bedford and learned how to repot a plant. I sort of know the latter, but don't do it quite as perfectly as Martha and her gardener.
Actually the date for airing is Friday, September 25, but no need to TIVO to see Buttercup and my friend, Bev. Our section, which sat behind the greenhouse area wasn't photographed. And we were so cute! I was in bright blue and Bev was in bright pink.
Kitchen and craft area

The set was -- as to be expected -- gorgeous. There was a big and fabulous kitchen, a craft room that I do believe would change my life and a wonderful greenhouse area.
The green house. The picture below shows the detail of the topiary wall.
Martha!

This was the display of photos of Halloween crafts and goodies in the waiting area.

Despite the fact that we won't be television stars and it's back to my desk and the waiting phone and email messages tomorrow, we had a great time! I'm inspired to spruce up my apartment and even remake a section of my bedroom for a craft area. Definitely will be decorating for the fall. If anyone is thinking of visiting New York a visit to Martha Stewart might be a great way to spend a morning. So glad you could join Bev and me for our wonderful day!

What a delightful experience for you and Bev~oh joy!
So....was Martha warm, or a snot?
I have to ask!
And...were those chairs as uncomfortable to sit on as they looked?
Any good freebie bags for you today?
Now, on to the Rach!

HI!!!
Oh Buttercup!!! I watched today and then thought to myself, self, it is NOT live!!!!! So I was going to TEVO it for Thursday!! I want to watch it just to see what you saw live!!! How cool!!!! And Martha came out so everyone could photograph her, that was sweet, as she could have skipped that!!! Her pre-jail days she might have been that kind of diva, but now she is more gentle and kind!!!
So glad you had a wonderful time!!! A glorious experience!!!Thanks for taking all the great pics so we could all see this amazing set!!!!
hugs,
jamie

Oh Buttercup, darn it. Behind the greenhouse. Darn those folks. You should have been front and center. But you know it looks like a wonderful set, and it would be so exciting to be that close to her. I have always loved Martha, and buy her products from K-Mart. She has a wonderful line. Did they give you anything from the show as a thank you for coming? Where are the pics of you all dressed up? I would have thought surely you and Bev would have had someone take your pics. Darn it. I wanted to see what you chose to wear. Repost, repost.

I am thrilled that a great time was had by all. Thanks for stopping by today. So glad you loved the post. Thanks for sharing, as I had such a wonderful time on the set with Martha. Country hugs and love, Sherry

Glad you enjoyed your time at Martha's. One day when I make it to NYC I plan on making some Broadway shows and would love to make a TV show as well! ☺
