Girls Just Want to Have Sun Pink Saturday

I was walking in the neighborhood a couple of weeks ago thinking about blogging and pondering if I would find much pretty-in-pink to photograph for the Pink Saturdays of 2015. As I pondered I saw this tote bag in the window of a local store, and I had my answer. We were still having unseasonably mild weather,  but I knew that would end one day and one day soon I would be thrilled for sun and warmer weather. I also knew I had my first Pink Saturday photo.

We've had sun, we've had snow and we have cold. It's a not so balmy 18 degrees this afternoon and I'm rediscovering boots, hats and scarves. I'm keeping to my resolution to get out every day and will be at my Bible study this afternoon. The winter is -- so far -- not keeping me away from enjoying New York City. It just takes longer to get dressed to enjoy it.

Blogger is acting up and I am unable to make this picture larger. I'm hoping it's just a temporary glitch and by tomorrow all will be well again in BloggerLand.

As ever, thanks for visiting and keep cozy!

Yes, that is PINK!! Good for you for getting out each day and finding what you're looking for, even if it seems you've seen it all.
Blogger has been giving me problems too. On some comment forms I type without seeing the words - too strange! The words show up when I hit 'publish'. It's all a mystery!

I had to giggle over the it takes longer to dress...One practically has to get undressed when you have to use the restroom when one is out and about, lol. Whatttttt? That's a fact and all northerners know that, LOLOL. Thanks for the smiles.

Thankfully the sun is out here today but very cold. I'm thankful to be staying in. It's bitter cold out and I've no place to be. Bundle up and keep warm !

I like how you have a name for each day of the week. Pink Saturday is a really good one. We have sunshine and a balmy 30 degrees.

Buttercup, I saw your previous post...The best diet I ever did was Dr. Atkins. I felt like a million dollars on it. But I was on blood thinners and all the salads messed with my meds. had to quit. I am glad that you are not letting the cold stop you from enjoying your great city. Just bundle up and walk safely. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie

Now that is some vivid pink! I love it! Stay warm! Wear lots of layers! Blogger has been acting up for me recently too. Maybe it's just no 'up' with the new year yet? Or maybe it's just being its temperamental self... :)

Pink, oh how I love, love, love pink!
Adorable tote bag.
Our weather has been extremely warm and beautiful, unusual that is for sure, but today we were hit with quite the wet snow storm.

Have a beautiful week.
