It's not quite Saturday, but there's still some time to join the fun at Pink Saturday. In addition to trying to capture pink themes, we're also looking at seasonal ideas. It's time for Thanksgiving, Chanukah and Christmas photographs. I'm going to look for all things pink, and if I can find pink Thanksgiving or Christmas, all the better. Otherwise, there is so much that is lovely in New York to share at this time of year that I know I will have no shortage of pictures for Pink Saturday.
I didn't anticipate finding any pink Christmas décor, but I was picking up a prescription when I saw these two cuties.

...the world of candy canes includes the pink ones at the top of the picture. Any candy cane fans in Buttercupland?
Santa has a big hat wardrobe, and that includes pink.
No pink here, but I can't resist a sock monkey. This little guy may need to come home with me.
Are you traditional in your decorating themes or would you include pink or purple or leopard print?
It struck me tonight that Thanksgiving is next week. I knew it was coming up and am in the midst of thinking about my contribution to dinner, but it really came as a shock that it's next week. I feel like I must have missed a chunk of 2014. My goal for tomorrow, besides my usual Monday gym commitment, is to make a serious list of everything I want to get done in the next six weeks.
My dear friend Anthony will be having cardiac bypass surgery and I know he would appreciate the prayers of Buttercupland. Thanks!
As always, thanks for visiting. Take good care and have a pretty in pink week.

Love those sweet deer. My latest post shows how unconventional I am in the decorating department, regarding the holidays. Prayers for Anthony before, during and after his surgery.
Those reindeer are simply the sweetest!!
I hope all goes well for Anthony with his surgery.
Yes, the holidays are almost here. The corporate world started it in August and I tried to ignore them, but now it is upon us and the hustle and bustle begins.
It just recently dawned on me too that Thanksgiving is just around the corner. How on earth did it get so late too soon? Snow in Ohio here this morning !
Thinking of your friend who is facing surgery, Buttercup! Prayers that all goes well for him.
Hubby just announced that we have ten days until Thanksgiving! Very funny, coming from him. We will have family here from Wednesday-Saturday, so it will be a busy time. We will be liberally peppered with vegetarians, so it is a challenge to arrive at something suitable for all preferences.
Love the pink Santa's hats and bows on the reindeer!
Sending good wishes for a speedy recovery to your friend.
Love the pinks that you found.
It's a fun time of year :)
Smiles :)

Time does fly by! Cute deer. Here's wishing your friend the best.
Buttercup, I am feeling the same way...where did our summer and fall go to? I am hoping for a small Indian Summer. :):) I can't remember the last we had around here. I will pray for Anthony to come thru his surgery and recovery with flying colors. Blessings to all, xoxo,Susie
We haven't celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff is already out. Aren't we rushing our lives a bit.
I'm not really big on candy canes -- but those reindeer eyes?!? Is it possible to fall in love with a stuffed animal who's geographically unavailable, to boot?
All joking aside, I'm holding Anthony in my prayers tonight!
Prayers for your friend.
Love the pink especially the pink deer. I like the red and white
candy canes. I might consider pink
or purple Christmas decor.
M : )
I know what you mean about Thanksgiving rushing upon us! I can't believe it's already that time of year. What a cute sock monkey!!
