How Did It Get to Be November?

Honestly, I have no idea. None.

But it is November and the days are flying by. I kept thinking I could hold the tide of time back by not buying a 2015 (eeks!) calendar, but all that meant was I had little pieces of paper stuck in my calendar for this year and chaos. My new calendar is bought. I have started to make plans for January and February and March...and before I can comprehend I will be posting pictures of the Christmas trees for on display in my neighborhood.

Whenever I go away I get off track on blogging. I've got lots of Savannah ideas for posts and will definitely do one for Savannah Pink Saturday, but I've also got a book review to post and a few other ideas I'd like to write about that are not about Savannah. I think Savannah is one of the most beautiful and photo friendly places I know and I'm going to post a few pictures of places that I especially enjoyed. We had a few days of soft breezes and one day of cold rain and wind. Imagine the soft breezes and enjoy a few minutes in Savannah.

The fountain in Forsyth Park. This was taken on one of the soft breeze days.

Along the river front. These are the walkways to the cotton traders' offices.

This is the "Waving Girl," Florence Martus, who greeted all ships entering and leaving the Port of Savannah, 1887-1931.

Definitely enjoyed the food in Savannah and the pralines were near the top of my list of favorites. They were so good and a tremendous treat.

I hope you're having a good week and enjoying the sweet last days of autumn leaves.

As ever thanks for visiting and take good care!

What a beautiful trip. My sweet Andrea in Kentucky spent her honeymoon in Savannah. She said Nick got a $100 fine for running a red light. oops...that is a cheap ticket! Here it would cost a fortunate but we have such swell government! LOL!
Your photos are beautiful and I love hearing your stories.
Have a beautiful weekend.
Love and Hugs, Anne

I would love to visit Savannah someday. When my parents would spend winters in Florida, they'd stop in Georgia on their way back to Wisconsin and bring us pralines. I loved them!

Great pictures. I have longed to visit Savannah. I may have to talk my daughter Kathy into that trip. We swore we'd go back to Charleston...but I really would like at least one trip to Savannah. Glad you enjoyed your time there. Pralines sounds very good to me. :):) xoxo,Susie

Savannah Georgia is my favorite city to vacation in.
I met Cheryl Day and her husband from Back In The Day Bakery there on Bulls street and just fell in love with them and their bakery.
Then of course I have taken several Paula Deen tours in years pass.
The antique shop on 37th is great and of course The Paris Market on Broughton downtown.Oh I could go on and on
Love that city all the fountains are beautiful

I must be the only person who don't care for pralines. I love Savannah, though. Blessings
