Reflections on the #atozchallenge

Today isn't just Cinco de Mayo, but it's the day to reflect on doing a month of blogging with the April Blogging from A to Z Challenge. As with the other major things in my life for the winter of 2014, perseverance wins the prize. Not counting the floor disaster, the three things that had my focus for the winter were blogging, decluttering and physical therapy. I didn't write much about the physical therapy, but my sessions went well into February and the like the other two, it's about doing it even when I'm not in the mood.

I enjoyed the Challenge and will soon post the "Survivor" badge on the right side of the blog. I have no issues with any of it and enjoyed writing almost all of April about food in New York City. I enjoyed it so much -- and the Citizens of Buttercupland seemed to enjoy it, too -- that I'm going to do more food themed posts. I've got a great one coming up for Friday with a giveaway. My posts won't be all food all the time, but there will definitely be more posts about food in New York City. I have to thank the Challenge for the focus on this topic and the enjoyment it gave me.

I appreciate those of you who joined me in April. Whether you're new blog buddies who found Buttercupland because of the Challenge or my beloved blog buddies of longstanding your visits and comments are so welcome. I hope you found Buttercupland the friendliest corner of New York City. I also appreciate those who put the Challenge together and keep it going. Many thanks!

I had a very fun morning today and will be sharing more as the week goes on. Between the sundrenched day and the great folks I spent time with -- human and canine -- it was a fabulous day.

I hope your day was fun, too, and you got to share it with great folks, human and canine, too  As ever, thanks for visiting and take good care!

It was a lot of fun and you were so creative with your posts. I don't usually care as much about food posts but I loved learning more about the restaurants in the city! Enjoy your week! Hugs, Diane

The sun is up here this morning and I'm hoping to enjoy the first sun drenched day we've had in over a week now. Our temps are to be warming up a bit too.
Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

I always look forward to reading your blog! Also, saw you on Twitter earlier with a canine friend. Lots of sunshine here today, and high temps into the 80's. More like summer than spring. Wishing you a happy Tuesday!

Loved seeing the smile on your face with 'Mo' yesterday. Come to think of it, it looked as if you were both smiling!
