I've been a "Peanuts" fan forever and I couldn't let today go by without remembering Charles Schulz, on what would have been his 91st birthday. I'm pretty sure there are lots of "Peanuts" fans in Buttercupland, and I wasn't really surprised to find that "Peanuts" was read daily by over 350 million people around the world. I was delighted to find sculpture of some of my favorite friends when I visited St. Paul, Minnesota and couldn't resist taking photographs.
Sally and Linus enjoy a sunny day.
Lucy joins the fun!
Marcie and I together for our favorite pastime.
I'm happy to announce a winner for the Old El Paso Frozen entrees giveaway. It's Vicky at Life on Willie Mae Lane. Vicky, I'll be in touch to get your mailing details. Thanks for joining me and our Peanuts buddies. I'm so thankful for my blog friends. Without all of you my life would be -- well, it wouldn't be! Actually, it's almost impossible to imagine my life without the sweet citizens of Buttercupland. Sweet dreams and take good care of yourselves.

Congrats to the winner. LOve the Peanuts buddies.
One of the things to look forward to during the holidays is watching the Charlie Brown special. I watched them as a child, then with my children, then my grandchildren and now because of busy lives, by myself. The music alone puts me in my happy place.
I agree, my blogging friends are such a blessing in my life! CUTE pictures:) Love all of the Peanuts gang! HUGS!
91 wow, his life with his pals, Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang must have been an amazing, imagine having the talent to create such a successful comic strip.
I've always like the Peanuts, too. When I was a child, I felt so sorry for Charlie Brown because he was picked on so much. Of course, Charlie could handle it. :-)
There are still a lot of those colorful painted Peanuts statues around St Paul. I had my picture taken some years ago with the Charlie Brown at the Science Museum. I happened to have a Hawaiian shirt exactly like the one on the statue. I'm gonna have to track down that photo and post it!
Charlie Brown is a staple in everyone's home, right? We love watching the holiday shows, and of course I grew up reading the funnies in the paper! Thanks for a nice memory.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Congrats to Vicky! :)
Gosh, Peanuts is a National treasure, isn't it? Thank you, Mr. Schulz!
