Tea Rose Pink Saturday

The tea roses are part of the beautiful card I was sent as part of the Teacup and Mug Exchange, organized by one of the sweetest bloggers ever, Stephanie. The mug I received is more of a celadon green, but the roses on the card definitely qualify for Pink Saturday.

My pink rose card and lovely tea towel. Thanks, Vicky!

Stephanie selected Vicky, who blogs at Life on Willie Mae Lane, as the blogger to send me a mug. I received not only a mug, but the pretty, pretty tea towel, tea bags and one of my favorite candies, gummy peach rings. I was one happy blogger when my package arrived. I selected an "I Love New York" mug and autumn pumpkin tea for Dee, who lives in Colorado. It's fun to think that good feelings and friendship were being sent across the country and back as part of this exchange. Vicky, thanks so much, I'm really enjoying my tea and new mug. I know I will especially savor them as the days get colder. Thanks, too, my sweet Stephanie, for putting as all together.

Had to include the yummy peach rings...

Mug and tea bags, you will warm up many a fall afternoon.

It was another glorious fall day in New York City and I enjoyed visiting in Brooklyn and catching up with friends. It was a sweet weekend...Movie, pizza, crossword puzzle and lots of conversation. I hope your weekend was spent doing all the things you enjoy.

As always, thanks for visiting and take good care of yourself.

Hello Carol,
Your gift package looks beautiful! I love those peach rings as well, yum. Your mug goes nicely with that precious tea towel.

I do not have a blog but love to visit you dear ladies through my daughter Stephanie and her blog. I must come and visit you again soon.

This was a delightful exchange, I believe my dear Stephanie should make this her ministry. Such beautiful way of making new friends.

Enjoy your new treasures.

Blessings to you!

Hello my dear Carol :) You bless my heart with your kindness and friendship, thank you, friend!

The mug you received from Vicki is so pretty and the color is perfect for Autumn. And that towel - SO cute!!
I remember when I was a young girl those peach rings were one of my favorite candies. Well, one day I was very greedy and ate a large amount only to find myself very sick later....I have never been able to eat another one since - I guess that's what I get :)

Again, thank you for joining the exchange - you are a blessing. Hugs!

Dear Carol, what a lovely way to reach across the miles to fellow bloggers. Is this a new "tradition" or have you all done it before?

I had such a wonderful weekend. For the first time in 17 years I shopped for winter clothing--all brought about because I lost 24 pounds through following the Weight Watcher's Program. That was on Saturday.

Then on Sunday I worked crossword puzzles, read a good book, spoke with two different friends on the phone about what's been happening in Washington, and made myself a delicious supper. A really peaceful day. Peace.

Buttercup, Very nice gifts. I went to my g.son's birthday lunch on Saturday. The grocery store on Sunday. Stopped over my daughter Angie's and visited. I always enjoy being around my children. It's been very cold here all weekend and today too. Stay warm and safe. xoxo, Susie
