Pinterest Strawberryfest

I wasn't sure what strawberry goodie I would find for today, but I typed in "strawberry treat" and found this Fourth of July strawberry treat and knew I had found something just right. I've had July on my mind and now that I'm almost back to real life I realized that next week is Fourth of July. It's always been a favorite holiday and though I'm a little early I am happy to begin my celebration here. What are everyone's plans for the Fourth?

I know I am feeling better because I did a little decluttering today and have just finished shredding checks from 2003. Of course I have no idea why I kept them, but it feels great to have one new empty space. I'm not pushing myself, but it's as easy now to watch television and sort as it is just to watch television. My television watching is mostly reruns of "Say Yes to the Dress" and "What Not to Wear" and I can definitely give some concentration to sorting.

Wishes for a Sweet and Fun Weekend!

Oh, I need to follow your lead and do some decluttering myself!

Don't you just love those red, white, and blue strawberries?!

Love these bright and festive strawberries! We were over 100 degrees in GA today, so I've been decluttering, too, while listening to Home and Garden TV. We'll have a picnic indoors for July 4th! Wishing you a restful evening.

With the 4th being on a Wednesday this year, our long holiday weekend has started early here. There will be lots of red white and blue desserts too. I have 3 kinds of berries and strawberries, grapes and pineapple too. I woke up this morning to the sound of rain. Hope your Saturday is a super one!

LOVE the strawberries. What a clever idea.
I have been working on 'my' room today - - rearranging and decluttering. There is still too much to do in there.
You saved the checks for the same reason I do. When we were young adults, we were told to keep them at least 7 years. Yours just happened to hide somewhere for two years longer.

Those strawberries look awfully festive for the Fourth! Glad you are feeling like decluttering. Even when I'm feeling good, I hate to do it! blessings ~ tanna

What not to wear...cracks me up. I would love to see what some see in their mirrors at home.LOL. I know everyone of us has something really quirky that we love or may even wear. I could not bring myself to spend that much money at one time on clothes. Smiles, Susie
