Hot Time in the City...

...refers completely to the temperature and not my very quiet life these days. It was a balmy 93 degrees in New York City today, and balmy only in comparison to the heat in the rest of the country. I did get out for my walk this afternoon and an iced coffee. I continued decluttering and read almost all of the Saturday New York Times, which with home delivery includes most of what is generally in the newspaper on Sunday.

There is still over twenty-six hours to join the Karen Kingsbury Giveaway. You know you want to leave a comment and have a chance to win an advance reader copy of Karen's latest book. The link makes it so easy.

Coming July Fourth week...Big Summer Giveaway! The Karen Kingsbury giveaway was the big June giveaway. The big summer giveaway is totally different, but lots of fun.

Keep Cool and Drink Lemonade!

Bet that iced coffee hit the spot.though a lemonade sounds good. I used to get the NYT everyday. But our local bookstore no longer carries it. glad you up and about, healing. take care.

Good job on getting out there early and getting your walk done. We did the same thing combining the walk with a quick trip to the farmers market and home by 9:30!! Here in east Tennessee, we broke an ALL TIME RECORD yesterday with 105 degrees. Not the kind of record one gets exciting about breaking. Yikes!

Sure hoping I win that Karen Kingsbury giveaway!!

Aren't these crazy weather patterns a bit frightening? 93-degrees sounds wonderful!

No lemonade in our pantry just now, but I'm keeping apace with lots iced coffee!

Have a beautiful day!

I am glad that you were able to get out a little beyond your neighborhood the other day and go to the farmer's market. I know that the excercise is good for you but try not to over do. I am sure that you were tired when you got back home.

I pray that you will continue to get stronger every day.

Have a happy 4th. Hugs, Lura

Hi There, You all have really been 'cooler' than we have.. We have had record temps this past weekend (over 100 degrees--which is rare for us)... NOT FUN!!!!

Decluttering is a good idea. We do it every once in awhile--but the computer room needs it again.

As you probably know, I don't participate in giveaways--but I'm sure that someone will love that book..

Be COOL and have a good week.
Hugs,
Betsy
