So Long! We'll Miss You...

...But we can't wait to see you next year!

A successful No Spending January (NSJ) day. No money was spent on stuff, though I did buy lunch today and two cups of coffee. I have discarded a bag of paper and half a dozen magazines. I read today's mail and discarded it. This could get to be a habit!

Poor dead trees. Oh well, It is definitely worth it...all of the beauty they provide. I've got to let mine go.

I've got to get better at dealing with the mail as soon as I bring it into the house....

There were a lot of trees out on the curbs here this week too. Our city has a truck that picks them up and mulches them for use around the parks. At least they do get recycled.

Aw, it is a little bit of a sad sight, seeing the wonder of Christmas fade away. But the good thing is we know it'll always come around again :)

Your doing good. I am proud of you!
I think this is a great idea and one we should all do.
I have a friend that is a hoarder and it has caused me to drift from her because u can't walk in her house. Now she is building a new home and I can see she is already feeling up two houses. Sad
Since my job lost I have been good and I intend to be good the whole year so we can do this together
Love

I'm so glad the city recycles Christmas trees --they keep giving back that way. :)

I like your "no spending and decluttering" resolution, Buttercup! I am decluttering a lot of the same things you are. I did splurge a little on a few after Christmas sale items but I wanted to use up gift cards before I lost them. That is my excuse and I'm sticking to it...lol!

Good for you with the continued success!!! It's encouraging to yourself though when you see another step closer to your goal.
