And the Winner Is...

It's October 1 and the winner has been selected for the latest Buttercup giveaway, "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like..." Debra has been a blog buddy almost from the very beginning of Buttercupland and I always enjoy a visit to her blog, "And It Came to Pass." I come away with lots to think about it and feel that I have had a good conversation with a friend.

Pumpkin Patch, the North Shore of Long Island

My summer shoes are put away and I am now officially beginning my Tribute to Autumn. I love the fall, pumpkins, leaves in gold and red and apple goodies. One of my favorite memories was a trip to a pumpkin patch and corn maze two autumns ago. I don't have plans this year, but just looking at the photos makes me think it's time to plan some pumpkin picking. Will anyone else make a trip to the pumpkin patch this year?

Congrats to Debra!

We usually choose a pretty pumpkin when we visit the apple orchards every Oct. Our "new to us" neighborhood provides a Halloween parade for the kids each year and we look forward to that.

Hope you have a restful night.

Congratulations Debra. When I temporarily lived in Chicago for 5 years... enroute from here to there, there was a huge pumpkin farm. Every autumn we would stop and get our pumpkins. It was always so much fun. Nothing like that around here. Happy Autumn.

We have lots of farms here in PA, so pumpkins are everywhere. When my daughter was little we went to a bigger farm that has hay rides, a corn maze, petting zoo, all that stuff. It was fun. It's actually only a couple of hours from NY. http://www.robafamilyfarms.com/

Well thank you very much! I am so excited about winning. Just sent you an email. I was a little late in seeing this as I've not been too active the past few days with blogging. Again, thank you and thanks for the kind comments.I look forward to the goodies!

October is my very favorite month of the year and we usually visit New York in this month but because we are a strict budget we won't get to do that this year. Hope to be there in 2012 and look forward to perhaps getting to meeting you! get in a visit!

Blessings,

Debra
