An Inquiring Mind Wants to Know...

Do you spend time at Starbucks?

We were having the equivalent of a chat around the water cooler last week. The topic drifted to spending time in Starbucks -- or other coffee stores -- for an afternoon using a laptop. We've had this conversation before, but somewhere in the middle of the conversation Brandon, who handles administration for our unit suggested I ask my blog friends. I hadn't realized that all of you had become a regular topic in the office and people my colleagues would turn to with a question. But my friends in Blogland are part of my world and I was tickled that a friend in the office made this suggestion. Tickled and delighted!

On behalf of Brandon, do you spend time at Starbucks? To the start the conversation going...I'm rarely in Starbucks. From time to time I get an iced Americano and every more rarely a Frappacino. I've had a few  iced coffees at Starbucks this summer, but only one of the fancy drinks. I do like the iced, whipped mocha with whipped cream (a lot!), but between the calories and the cost I save them for treats. There is a Starbucks two blocks from my apartment and a Dunkin Donuts a block away. I manage to fight off fancy coffee temptation pretty well, but the donuts could be my downfall any time.

Sweet dreams and keep cool!

I do not go to Starbucks but, my husband and I have a local coffee shop that is similar to Starbucks...only they have a mere 10 shops in town vs the thousands of Starbucks. Anyway, we go there once a week (with laptops) for a coffee date and then next store to Safeway for groceries. We also go to Barnes and Noble and sit with our laptops and have coffee probably once a week. :)

Neither of us go to Starbuck's. Harold gave up coffee, I never drank it. We are tea drinkers, but do not care for Starbuck's tea.

Now if there is a Krispy Kreme in the area Harold would have a wreck turning in to it ... cuckle!

How delightful that Brandon (and your coworkers) are interested in your blog!
To answer his question... I visit Starbucks MAYBE once a year -- when the weather begins to turn and they roll out their holiday blends.
Frankly I'm an "addict waiting to happen" and just can't justify Starbucks $$$!

I have bought Starbuck's occasionally to take home. I'm addicted to McDonald's mocha frappe though!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your work week and give your co-workers my regards from down south!

Before my knee gave up on running, it was a regular hang-out. Meet, run, enjoy coffee and a visit. I hardly go there anymore. I miss all of that. Especially the running. blessings ~ tanna

My friends and I used to meet at a Starbucks once every few weeks, but they closed it. Who closes a Starbucks? We relocated to a Mexican food restaurant with chips and salsa for our times together. Glad you are the talk of the office. Tell them they are lucky to have you!

I don't like the taste of coffee or tea - - never have so I don't go to Starbucks - - also don't like the cost of their drinks. My downfall for a 'pricey' drink is Smoothie King - - - LOVE IT! As far as Wi-Fi, I don't have a laptop but if I did, I still enjoy being home to surf.

I am loyal to my Butternut coffee savored over the morning newspaper.
I've never been in a Starbucks.

I never go. I dislike their coffee. Even in airports I'm sorry to see it's Starbucks. And I struggle too hard w/ diet to drink a 500 calorie ddrink. So i wouldn't go in for any reason.
