Something Soup-er!

A mea culpa from Buttercup. My good friends at Kettle Cuisine let me know that I had an outdated logo for the best soup anywhere! I wanted to make sure that all of you who were eager to try Kettle Cuisine knew exactly what to look for, so I am sharing the new logo. And for something really soup-er there's a new flavor on the way...Can't give more details yet, but it's creating some happy anticipation in Buttercupland. Definitely  one of my favorite cuisines.

So loving a quiet Sunday morning. Lots of things I want to do, but nowhere I have to be. I'm off to Weight Watchers in a little while, a nice walk after that -- the sidewalks are clear enough to really walk -- and maybe a pedicure. Of course, there's the bank, grocery and the drugstore, but it's all in a leisurely way. Definitely want to do some blog visits during the afternoon.

Tonight I plan to settle in with the Golden Globes and hope to watch one of my favorite actors win for best actor. Last night I saw "The King's Speech" with Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush. It is both a small story, one man's struggle to speak clearly, against a huge canvas, the English throne and the beginning of World War II.
The acting was extraordinary, and it held my interest the entire time. A Buttercup film recommendation! Interested in thoughts from my English friends who have seen the movie.

Happy Sunday...Go Jets -- for my Jet fan friends! -- and welcome, #101!

Your day sounds perfect. I love days like that. Today, I am starting the proverbial spring cleaning which is about 2 years over do. The clutter and disorganization is putting me out of sorts. By the end of my day I am going to feel so much better.
Have a wonderful day!

I am planning to see The Kings Speech sometime this week. I am a big fan of Colin Firth. I am looking forward to see how the Queen mother is portrayed in the film as she never forgave Wallis Simpson or Edward for forcing her husband into the limelight.

Your day sounds great, we have had a relaxed weekend.

Enjoy the Globes, I will check on the winners when I get up in the morning.

hugs

Your Sunday sounds splendid, dear Buttercup. I loved that movie, too! Geoffrey Rush touched my heart. I also saw Black Swan this past week. It was more disturbing than I had anticipated. I wish I'd gone to see The King's Speech for a 2nd time instead.

I'll be watching the GGs with you -- it's my favorite award show.

I have not heard of Kettle Cuisine and we love soups. Do they have it on the west coast? I will have to look for it.

It sounds to me like you had plenty to do today.
I hope you enjoyed it.
After church I had to fix dinner for my daughter and her family. We trade back and forth each week and this week was my turn. I made a nice ham dinner. Now I have the left over ham bone so I think homemade bean soup is in our near future. It is much warmer here than it was in Utah but soup is always a welcome dinner at my house.

Have a great week in Butternutland. I am sending you hugs.

I will have to look for "Kettle Cuisine" to try it! And I watched some of the Golden Globes last night, and that Ricky Gervais was something!! Everyone is now up in arms about his jokes at celebrities, but as Piers Morgan said on The View today: You can't invite a shark to dinner and then act shocked when it eats your guests. Isn't that a great analogy??!! LOL!
Best,
Gloria
