The lights on Madison Avenue
The balcony at the Waldorf Astoria
The Palace Hotel decorations...What a beautiful tree!
Decorations in the courtyard of the Palace Hotel. The spires in the background are St. Patrick's Cathedral.
I've enjoyed taking photos of the holiday decorations to share with all of you. I really stop and look at how beautiful the city is and not just fly by on my way to a new errand. Thanks for the impetus to "stop and smell the roses." Much appreciated!
Now it's time to write a few more cards -- I think I'm the slowest card writer -- and have a cup of candy cane green tea. For those who've asked, the tea is good -- not as good as a cup of hot cocoa with lots of mini-marshmallows -- but good and very healthy. Hope you're having a sweet Sunday night.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos of New York City at Christmastime! It's my goal to see it in person one day.
Howdy
Wow my entire life I always thought I had to see the sights you shared with my own eyes and no one elses.
Now I realize it is the gift of sharing the blessings that are around us with others who are not here that is important.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share all the fabulous images I have longed to visit .
God Bless you and yours with many wonderful surprises this season and in the coming New Year
Love and hugs from Texas
Until next time
Happy Trails

Good Morning, Buttercup!
Our Spanish guest spent the weekend in NYC. When she arrived home last night she told me of the things she and friends she connected with there did. She mentioned the Waldorf Astoria and 5th Avenue. Sounded like such fun and such beautiful sights.
Makes me want to plan a trip there too.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful decorations. They are spectacular! I hope your Monday is a great one!
Oh how lovely! I remember having lunch at the Waldorf....in 1964 with my NY native aunt. Paul Anka, an up and coming star (heehee, at the time) was the entertainment in the lounge...I was 13, and saw the signboard on our way out. We went to Radio City Music Hall then, and saw the Rockettes. What I remember most, is how luxurious the ladies restroom was at RC!!
Thanks for sharing the photos. The decorations are gorgeous!
I really enjoy your photos. New York is not one of those places that I will probably ever venture too so to be able to see all the sights that you share is wonderful.
It is so amazing to see these gorgeous trees and all teh other trimmings around you. Thank you so much for sharing...Oh to be able to see them withmy own eyes...one day LOL
Much Love and have a wonderful Christmas
