It's a Web...

...like a spider's web, made of silken light and shadow, spun by the moon in my room...

Actually, it's not quite silk and it was spun by my terrific colleagues, who also stocked a half dozen pumpkins with some of my favorite chocolates. It's been a tough, tough week at work -- hence my absence from Blogworld. I did have the pleasure of emerging from my office on Monday -- following an intense morning of not leaving my computer -- to find this Halloween landscape. I overdid it with KitKats and mini-malted milk balls on Monday -- yummy! -- and learned my lesson and haven't had a drop of chocolate since.

A big thank you to a devoted reader from Upstate New York! One of the great pleasures of blogging is realizing that I am being read and I loved hearing from one of my favorite and most devoted fellow citizens in Buttercupland, who asked me about my whereabouts. I wish I was off doing exciting Big City activities, but that's not the case. Work has been tough, but so far the challenges have been met and I am thrilled that the weekend is quickly approaching. Pedicure and a pumpkin latte are on my list of activities, and not much more.
What treats are on your weekend list?

Love the spider web! This weekend for me holds much relaxing after a highly stressful week. Enjoy your weekend,

A little humor does makes a difference when things get so intense. I love pumpkin spice lattes. Last year I found an International Coffee one that I could make right at home but I didn't see it on the store shelves this year. I hope your weekend is a wonderful one for you!

Good Morning Buttercup Sweetie...
What a beautiful share this morning. I love your office area. How cute is that spider, not to mention the webs.

Now I cannot believe that you broke down and ate candy? Not you? Well I will take no on the candy but could I come along for the pedicure and the pumpkin latte? I am SO in need of one too.

This has been a rough week. Glad we both survived it.

I am sending you many hugs sweetie and SO much love. I pray you are well. I think of you often and smile so BIG. You are forever etched into my heart sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

It's good to "see" you Buttercup!
Isn't it fun how we so-called :) adults can revert back to adolescence come the holidays?!?
I (too) just experienced the Week-from-"H" -- and unfortunately, didn't take time to stop and voice appreciation for my co-workers' decorations and levity.
My hat's off to you! :) EnJOYYYYY that pedi!

No, that's too realistic. I'd resign.

I love it when the workplace is decorated for the season! Can one have too many KitKats? LOL!
