Signs of the (Montana and Idaho) Times

I'm not having an easy landing back into real life. I had a wonderful time in Montana and Idaho and barely thought of all the things I do in my day to day work life. But as I was sitting at my desk eating lunch -- and there was no glorious view -- I realize I'd returned to real life with a thud. This isn't a complaint. It's simply that I had enjoyed my visit with Tom and Julia so much and loved spending time with my dear friend, K, and now it was all over. But what glorious memories!

 We visited the Farmers Market

On the trail in Idaho
I was thrilled to be on the same trail as Lewis and Clark

At the Lumberjack Saloon

Homemade huckleberry ice cream -- which was as good as it sounds.

It's hard coming back to reality after any kind of holiday. Even though we love our 'real' lives, coming back to them can be tough!

I received my goodies in the mail yesterday! I love them - thanks so much. I don't know if I'll ever make it to that part of the world, so it's nice to have some of it visit me :) Thanks again!!

Welcome back, Buttercup. I know the withdrawals you're speaking of. Hang in there, and keep your eyes open in the jams & jellies aisle . . . you have great sights all your own, ya know! ;)

Welcome back!
It's always hard coming back from vacation.
Your trip sounds like it would be fun. I would love to one day make it out to that area.

Maybe the Lemon Ice King of Corona will make a huckleberry ices flavor. Wedding, Bat Mitzvah and Mother's Day this weekend but maybe we can meet there soon and check out the flavors.
Welcome home.
