V.A.C.A.T.I.O.N......

...and it's another M!

There are times that I feel I don't go away much at all and other times -- like now -- that I'm not home at all.
I'm leaving Thursday on a long planned getaway to a state -- actually two states -- that are new to me.  I'm leaving for Montana and Idaho. I'm going with my dear friend, K, to visit her son and his fiancee. I blogged about their engagement and now I get to meet Julia and spend time with some of the dearest people I know.

A longtime goal is to visit all fifty states and this trip will make #41 and #42. K and I are staying in a charming bed and breakfast. I've been visiting the website regularly and promise to share pictures when I get back. We'll be visiting galleries, taking long walks, chatting, laughing and snapping lots of pictures. Any blog friends live in western Montana?

Hello Sweetie...
I am back home, sick with a cold. Coughing till my chest muscles hurt now. Not sure if it was the change of climate or what, but oh my gosh was it ever worth every cough I take.

I was so thrilled to meet you sweetie. You are one of the kindest, warm souls I have met, and I can hardly wait for us to meet again. Same time, same place next year? Ha! Ha! You think Harold can take another one of these gatherings?

I can't wait for you to share your next trip to Big Sky Country. I have never been there either, so I will be visiting through your eyes. Take lots of pictures of the B&B and don't forget to take pics of your food. I want to see everything.

I cherish your friendship sweetie. Friends for life. I hope you are giving it some serious consideration (Lilac Lane). It really is quite fitting.

Love ya sweetie. Safe journey ahead. All my love, Sherry

Montana's one of the states on my wishlist of travel spots. We don't do much traveling yet - one of these days... :) Enjoy - you'll have such a good time!

That is great 42 states... I've only been to 3 so you're way ahead of me. Have a lovely vacation with K and friends. It's great that you're staying at a B&B instead of a chain hotel. Can't wait to see the pictures you take.

Enjoy,
Paula

G'eve Lilac Lane ~

I know you are so looking forward to this visit to the big M ... it is a beautiful state & quite a different terrain than what you are used to. What fun you will have with K ...

It has been a real withdrawal this week ... you gals are GONE!!! until next year, right?
It was so much fun to share our time together ...

Harold got a call late today & rushed to pack, driving to NY tonight for next 2 days on business ... he has been training in school to be an instructor & is tickled, but I am not sure how NY ties in to this. He starts teaching next week, is all I know.

Hugs of love, sweet friend ~ Marydon
