On This Loveliest of Spring Weekends...

Amanda and Chuck were married!

It was a beautiful weekend for a beautiful wedding. It was the perfect spring weekend, clear skies, seventy degrees, bright sunshine and a joyous and happy celebration. Couldn't ask for more! The temperature on the day of Amanda's shower was twelve degrees, but yesterday's beauty made up for the icy wind of January. The service was lovely, the bridesmaids and flower girls looked wonderful and the father of the bride -- my dear friend and colleague -- couldn't have looked more handsome or been happier. The party was terrific. There was great food, a wonderful DJ and lots of dancing.

The cake was lovely and the ducks were a great bride and groom

What a joy this weekend was. I wish I could bottle the good feelings and ship it to all of you!

Weddings are wonderful and always full of JOY. It would be great if those feelings were bottled up to keep. Hope your Monday is a great one!

My niece would have flipped for the ducks on the cake. Too cute!

The orange and white theme -- so unusual and fresh. I love her bouquet and the sugarpaste lilies on the cake. How fun!

What a wonderful way to spend your afternoon, being guest at the wedding, all that delicious, food, the dancing, the happiness of it all..The bride looked lovely and so was that gorgeous wedding cake, we don't usually have that kind of cake in the UK. (ours are usually made in seperate tiers and have a hard royal icing on them) I am so gla dyou had such a great time
Thanks as always for sharing,

Really lovely cake. I've watched some cake decorating TV shows and they come up with the most outrageous things that lend nothing to the occasion. It looks like your friend Amanda has her priorities straight. I'm so glad it was a nice time for you.
