Happy Pink Saturday

I'm jumping on the Pink Saturday bandwagon. Still having problems with linking, but wanted to wish everyone a bright and sunny Saturday filled with good times. I realize this pretty bouquet was a new year's wish, but there is still lots of 2010 and I hope for all of us, lots of blessings!

It's a bright and beautiful Saturday in New York. I'm leaving for services in a little while and then will stroll over to Rita's Ices for the first sweet treat of the season. I wasn't familiar with Rita's, which just opened about a month ago, but my cousins in Connecticut tell me they have the best Italian ices. I'll have to see for myself, and of course, there will be pictures! And inquiring minds want to know, what's your favorite ice cream or Italian ice flavor?

Irony: very cold and very wet in central Texas today for the first day of Spring! Enjoy your Italian ices!

Sounds like fun! My favourite ice cream would have to be Rolo - although I haven't had an Italian ice yet, so that could be my new fave :)

We had a lovely Italian Ice cream parlour in my little village up in Scotland and they had delicious ice cream....my fav. I think would have been Strawberry Ice. Nowadays though I like best of all an ice cream made on a farm not 10 miles away and all the flaovours are my favourites !! except chocolate...I don't like choc. ice cream...
I look forward to seeing the photo's of your ice creams !!
Have a lovely weekend,
Love Sybil xx

Happy Pink Saturday sweetie.
Sweetie I can't wait for pictures. Italian ices, oh let me see, how about a lemon or a cherry, yep either one will do for me. Do they have sugar free? Do you know?

Sounds like a fun day for you. I am off to the yard to get gardening done. I wanted to say hello first. Have a beautiful day sweetie.

Country hugs and so much love...Sherry

I'm one of those crazies who can't stand ice cream. Weird, hunh. But I love any flavor of those lil' freezie pops...the kind that look like Koolaid...the lemon is really good...

I've never had Italian Ice. Is it like a Dairy Queen Misty? My favorite is lime.

Your cousins are right about Rita's. I had a combination of mango and chocolate. It was wonderful. Since I only get to the upper west side on Saturdays, that will be my special treat.
