"We will grieve not but rather find...

strength in what remains behind." Sad news, my friends. My aunt passed away this afternoon. Not unexpected, but still so, so sad. The funeral is in Connecticut on Thursday and I am going there tomorrow to be with my cousins. Thank you all for your thoughtfulness and caring. Much, much appreciated.

Oh, how sad. You're so right, just because something is expected doesn't make it much easier to take. Keep yr eyes peeled when traveling, but I guess you know that with all yr globe-hopping!

What sad news, even if expected, it comes as a blow when a loved one passes on.
Be safe in your travels.

Oh Buttercup!
Hi honey. Thanks so much for stopping by to say hi. I was just so sorry to hear about your precious Aunt. You know that she will live forever in your hearts with all of the memories that each one of you have taken from her life. Isn't it wonderful how each of us share something different with our families, and then when we get together we hear things that we never even knew had happened. I am so happy your trip down and back was safe, and you are back in your home safe and sound. Have a wonderful day. Country Love and Hugs, Sherry

Dear Buttercup,
I am trying to catch up on past posts and fine blog friend I am, I didn't know your Aunt had passed...what a very sad time for you. I can't even say my prayers will be with you for the funeral as it has passed but I will pray that your grief will be clothed by the sweet memories of your Aunt and you will be reminded of the happy times....I am so sorry.
