I Traded a Bag of Worries

I have a million profound posts in mind, but this little episode keeps popping up with my blog friends in mind. It's after work tonight and I've taken the subway to 96th Street and Lexington Avenue. I'm on my way to visit my aunt, who's recuperating (nicely!) from surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital. My mind is floating somewhere in space and when I focus on earth I'm trying to will the light to change to GO when I feel this little licking feeling on my ankle. I jump about ten feet and look down at the culprit. I am staring at the sweetest tiny miniature dachshund. The woman walking him is staring at me, because there's no reason to jump when this sweet little dog is licking my ankle. This little puppy cutie brought me back down to earth and instead of the bag of worries I'd been carrying around today, the little dachshund has stuck in my mind.

I know this little dog isn't a dachshund and yes, he's dressed for Valentine's Day, but I've been searching for dachshund pictures and haven't found anything I like. Please accept this little cute dog as a token of my affection, dear blog friends. Good wishes and sweet dreams!

Our neighbor just got a Cairn Terrier puppy, and it is about the size of that little graphic!!! It's the cutest thing! I love those mini doxies (or any doxie for that matter)!!!

Yer pretty brave to be in New York, riding subways and all that!

I read your blog to take a vacation to New York occasionally. So far from Texas! Hope Spring is breaking out there...
