Hearts and Flowers Week is officially over, but every day is a good day to celebrate the people in our hearts.
I took this photograph last week -- alas, it's not in my apartment now -- but thanks to the gift of photography I'm going to be enjoying it for a long time. I found it during one of my walks and the shop where I found it is part of a new phenomenon in the neighborhood, florists /coffee shops. I haven't sampled any of them yet, but look forward to a post soon. The nearest one is on my walk to the library and I expect to add it to my itinerary in the next week.
I had a fun Valentine's Day, with cards -- thank you, friends! -- calls, texts and emails. I didn't sample any chocolates, but need to keep up my willpower and avoid the half price sales in the drugstore. Always a temptation.
I've got a quiet week ahead. I'm getting to my final weeks of physical therapy and my last art class for this session on Friday. It's cold today (26 degrees), but the weather is predicted to be SIXTY on Thursday and I want to be out and walking. I've got decluttering and want to get another bag of donations together. What are your plans?
As ever, thanks for visiting and have a sweet week.
