When I walked past these windows on Friday I knew this would be our destination for Mother's Day and Pink Saturday. I loved the pretty in pink cake and I knew Citarella was a perfect place for a wonderful prepared meal. Eating out on Mother's Day is tough. It's so crowded and not the more lesisurely meal that we would like. But we can choose our treats at Citarella and head home to honor the mothers, grandmothers, aunts and godmothers in our lives.
The prettiest pretty in pink cake! I think the "Mom" cookies are pretty cute, too.
We'll take a box of "Mom" cookies and the basket of chocolates, please.
I think soft shell crabs would make a nice Mother's Day lunch.
