It’s been a wonderful and beautiful visit to the North Country of New York from morning — as shown above — to evening as shown below.
The morning photo is the view from the deck of my friend’s home and Ontario is in the distance. The sunset photo was taken up the St. Lawrence River in Clayton, NY, where the rehearsal dinner was held last night.
The views are fabulous, but (more than) equally fabulous is the time spent with friends who are family. I’ve loved visiting with friends of fifty plus years — how is that possible? — their children and meeting the next generation. The rehearsal dinner was so much fun and I so looking forward to my beautiful goddaughter’s wedding tonight. So far, it’s clear skies and no prediction for rain.
I hope your weekend is filled with people that make you happy.

So nice, I love Lake Ontario! We grew up with a camp on the eastern shore. New York has high taxes and a questionable government, but oh it's a beautiful place, and the summer weather is fantastic. Enjoy your time!!!
