One Day It Will Be Time for Yogurt

I had planned a very sunny spring-time post for today. I was all set to wear sandals and have a glass of iced coffee. But we've slipped back into less balmy weather. I am drinking hot coffee and I'm wearing a turtleneck and socks and shoes. But one day it will be time for frozen yogurt, one of my favorite summery treats and our "Y" for today.

We all go for Yogo

I saw this truck with its big "Y" almost a month ago and knew it would be my choice for "Y." I am a fan of frozen yogurt and all soft serve products and wait eagerly for the Mr. Softee truck each year. I don't often eat them, but so enjoy them when I do. The sighting of the first Mr. Softee truck on the streets of New York is my first robin of the spring. Is anyone else a fan of frozen yogurt or Mr. Softee?

Tomorrow we conclude our Blogging from A to Z Challenge. And it was a challenge. I appreciate everyone who visited, especially in the somewhat confusing M-N-O-P letter swapabout. I've got "Z" all ready for tomorrow. It's one of my favorite food places in New York City and I'm glad to share it.

It's time for a visit to the library and the post office. As always, thanks for visiting. Stay warm and dry and for Citizens of Buttercupland in the path of storms, stay safe!

Dear Carole, It is cold again!!!
I don't think the word chilly is even appropriate to describe the weather.
I am sure the weather will once again be delightful and the yogurt truck will be serving a long line of customers!
Blessings dear. Catherine xo

I haven't heard of Mr. Softee in years. I used to love that truck coming down the block in the summer. Thanks for the memory.

We hit 70 today so maybe it is coming your way. Wonder if you will pick the 'Z' I am thinking of?

I won't say it was 93 degrees here today; I could have used some of that frozen yogurt! That is the cutest truck; I have never seen a truck like that, that dispenses yogurt! I too like the occasional soft yogurt or ice cream trip!

WTG for getting through A/Z! It was fun, wasn't it?

thanks for visiting my blob :)

Frozen yogurt isn't available here in my part of the world, but it sounds amazing! I've really enjoyed your A-Z posts, and am a little sad it's coming to an end.

Hard to believe that A-Z is almost done. I'll miss the delicious treats you've shared along the way.

I love the "Mr. Softee" (Although the truck is called something else in my neighborhood. There's and elementRY school opposite me and the truck sits around the corner. It's a dangerous place for because in the warmer weather I can't resist. I walk BJ past it every day. Yum, Yum.

My favorite - vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles. During Passover, I had to have a chocolate sundae in a cup.

I would love to find that yogurt truck pulled up next to my local Walgreens! I'm liking the frozen yogurt places popping up lately where you load them up with toppings and then weigh it. Mmm salted caramel!

Thanks for stopping by my blog for A to Z!

I love frozen yogurt so much. I haven't seen a truck yet, so I head to the closest TCBY for my yogurt fix.

Love Frozen Yogurt. Have been taking my Granddaughter every Friday afternoon after school to one of the local Fro-Yo shops.

I also a big fan of frozen yogurt.... but darn they're becoming fewer and far between.
That soft texture and curly-q atop (thinking Dairy Queen) brings back lots of great memories!

I love frozen yogurt. The warmer the weather the more we seem to indulge. I like the Yogurt Brothers here and the original TCBY. But I have a soft spot for Menchie's. I think because the owner of the company was in the Israeli army and then he moved to the US. His story is amazing and he is one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever read about. I think he was on an episode of Undercover Boss as well. Nick took us to a great yogurt place when we were in Kansas on a visit too. They are everywhere.
