I Believe in Spring

Though when I walked out this morning the dogs were wearing fleece coats and I was in my winter coat, I could begin to feel that spring was on its way. Though a snowstorm is predicted for tomorrow and little snowflakes are also featured on the forecasts for Thursday and Friday, I feel spring is almost here. Though not one little shoot is springing up anywhere and the flowers are still promises, I believe in spring.

For the first time this season one of my favorite verses from the Bible came to mind, and I was delighted to find this beautiful illustration.

There may be snow on the ground, but spring is in my heart.

I think that storm is missing us for the most part. It seems to be south and east of us so far. We may get a little today, but hoping not much. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!

How lovely! We are seeing little sneak previews of spring in the way of early blooming bulbs. We actually woke to a light dusting of snow today and terrific wind! Enjoy your day.

Buttercup...soon you will be wearing your pretty spring colors. We have 5 inches of snow but it is melting already. The next few days will be nice around here. Be safe. xoxox, Susie

Spring can't come soon enough - I'm desperately wanting a sun holiday, I'm so tired of the cold.
I love the scripture image.

Wish you could've zapped yourself this way, and enjoyed our 82-degree day!
Several folks at work were complaining of feeling so tired today ... I caught myself suggesting they have Spring fever, when it isn't even Spring. (but not a darn one of those CHILDREN got it!).

Oh, we just got 10" more snow a couple of days ago and I can't wait to see dirt! Have a good rest of the week!

Carol - we thought Spring was on the way, but now it is blowing like crazy and verrrrrry cold! Jeanie and I went for a walk down to the local cafe and then over to look at the outside of a house for sale (just dreaming), and froze our tushies off! So we stopped at the library to warm up. Now home in the nice warm house. I hope Spring comes soon! March 21st is just a number around here! Hugs!

Love the verse and illistrtion...so lovely! It is warming up a little here, but I still don't see anything blooming. Maybe because we had a big snowstorm last week.

"the time of the singing of birds"... that makes spring sound so beautiful. I do have to admit though... I don't have a clue what turtles sound like. ??

Spring is here for sure. It was 71 today on the beach in Navarre, and I loved every minute of the beautiful sunshine. The flowers have been in full bloom for a couple of weeks now. But then North Florida is a bit warmer than some of those Northern states. Happy Spring. Are you doing the A to Z Challenge? Thanks for dropping by to my silly little "F" flash fiction. It was fun. Tomorrow's will be on Gallinippers (something Florida is fixing to have to deal seriously with.
Hugs,

I cannot wait for some spring weather to finally spring! Still cold and dark days here in Michigan. We did have our first thunderstorm last night which made me hopeful. But thank you for this!

This was the warmest morning so far this year...it was 32 deg. F. so spring absolutely must be on the way! There is snow in the forecast for us too, but not much, less than an inch altogether and it will be above freezing, I say it won't stick and will be more like slush coming down. Yes! Spring is definitely on it's way!!!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!
Hugs, Cindy

So true, Carol, Spring enters the heart before it shows up around us. The anticipation of Spring is what makes life's winters worthwhile.

Carol, thanks for praying for my Christopher. I KNEW you would! He is the springtime of my life. :-)

This is a beautiful post from a beautiful woman. It's freezing in NC today. But the grass is in for the horses. They are thrilled! Ha. But last week was warm. This week, not so much. Hopefully, it will be warm again. Someday. xoxo

Awesome! We kind of skip winter here and go straight through spring, then summer, then uber-summer. Still, I was very grateful when the weather warmed up. Nothing like adversity/extremes to make you appreciate the good, eh?
