Whitney, This Song Is for You

Dear Whitney, thank you for all the enjoyment you gave the world. Rest well and know you are loved and remembered.

I promise that tomorrow's post will be more upbeat, but I wanted to remember Whitney Houston in Buttercupland. I loved her music and often listened to clips on youtube. It's hard to choose which of her songs is my favorite. "One Moment in Time" is a very close second and "The Greatest Love of All is just a tad behind.

It's a quiet day in Buttercupland. It's cold out today, but I am going out for some air and a haircut. I've read the NY Times, chatted on the phone and hopped around the world blog visiting. I've got a date with decluttering this afternoon! Magazines are calling.

Wishes for a cozy Sunday!

Sounds like you're having a good Sunday.
I've been to church with my sweet hubby, had dinner with some of my favorite people and now I have an afternoon to rest. I'm having a good Sunday, for certain!
It has warmed up to right around freezing, which is a far cry from -22 Celsius!
Stay warm and be happy.:)
Hugs, Cindy

Would LOVE to hear this song, but everytime I click on your link it takes me to a page that says The Wepage Can Not Be Displayed. Am I only one having this problem? So sad about Whitney.

I too am a big fan of Whitney and will miss her wonderful voice singing so many of my favorites. So sad that she is no longer with us. May she rest in peace. On the bright side I'm glad to hear you are having such a nice Sunday there.

Whitney had such tremendous talent and will be missed greatly. My heart goes out to her lovely daughter.

It is even cold in GA tonight! Hope you have a restful night and a good week.

It was sad to hear the news about Whitney this weekend. She was a beautiful lady with a powerful voice.

I was also sad to hear about Zazlow's death. It just goes to show we all ahve to enjoy every day, as we never know.

Glad it warmed up today ..we have been spoiled by the nice weather this winter!

tragedy and immense talent seem to go together for some. She was the age of my children, I feel like I watched her grow up and felt sad for her as things went wrong.
