It's Christmas Time in the City

There are no specific holiday decorations visible, but the red and green lights had a very festive look. 

Today was a much quieter day than yesterday, and I stayed in my neighborhood doing errands and taking a nice long walk. I had lunch with my college roommate and introduced her to our local Michael's. I bought tags and the makings for cards, which is my project for tonight.

I was so glad to get your comment right after publishing my post today. It is fun to know that even though we live across this wide country...on opposite coasts... we were doing almost the exact same thing at almost the same time. I went to Michael's yesterday and you would of thaought that Christmas was today by the way people were grabbing and yanking at things!
Hope your trip was less stressfull.

Wow, New York is festive at all times, I can only imagine what it's like at Christmastime!!!

I haven't been to the Big City since the World's Fair was there back in the sixties. I was just a young chicklett back then.
