Any Fans of Jack Bauer or Mr. Big?

As a preface to this post, I have no idea where June went. I know I went to work, lots of meetings (which rarely flew by) a medical appointment, had a great visit with my friends from childhood, Sue and Lonni and grocery shopped. Somehow clothes got clean and bills got paid, but otherwise the month flew. And when I think back I'm not even sure where May went. I know we say the years go faster as we grow older, but this year is flying by at sonic speed.

I did go to the theater a few times this spring and one of the shows I saw in May was "That Championship Season." It was a revival of a drama that had first played in the early 1970s. I wasn't as interested in the play itself -- I thought it might be dated and it was -- but in several members of the cast, Kiefer Sutherland and Chris Noth. I am a fan of "24" and the exploits of Jack Bauer. I am also a fan of Chris Noth. On sleepless nights I catch up on rerun episodes of "S*x and the City.

I braved the crowds at the stage door after the show to get a few pictures to share. I didn't get any autographs or photos with me -- I was too far back in the crowd -- but I hope got a few pictures to make any fans in Blogland happy.

I hope you enjoyed our spring theater excursion. It's a lovely day this afternoon and I'm off to a program sponsored by one of my all-time favorite brands of probably my favorite food. Any guesses?

Looks like your month as been really great so far. Even though work keeps you busy you have had some really good times too. I'm guessing ice cream to be your favorite, but if it's not that them maybe it's chocolate which is my favorite. Either way it sounds interesting. Have a great Saturday!

I LOVE live theater -- you're soooo fortunate!
Fav food? Hmmm ...
You impress me as being carefully-considerate of your body. Nevertheless, I'll echo Ma's vote for ice cream. Everyone's GOTTA indulge once in a while, right?

Oh a food riddle... now you know I am going to be pondering this favorite brand of your favorite food all night long :) What might Buttercup love??? You should have given us a hint.

The days, weeks months do zoom by! You are going to think I just crawled out from under a rock, but I barely recognize those fellows at the theater. My husband is an avid fan of 24 and he and our youngest daughter see just about every movie. But me... I can't sit still that long.

I like Jack Bauer but not the show. My husband LOVES 24. The violence makes me nauseous - - even though it's just acting. Somehow I relate to it as if it is real persons.
I know what you mean about life zooming by at warp speed. Have you heard the expression, "Life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer you get to the end, the faster it goes."

Oh My Gosh Sweetie...
I can't believe you were SO close. Tony is a BIG "24" fan. Me not so much. Now I love watching Sex in the City. Love those gals. Can you imagine living the life that they do? Oh Lordy, I don't think I could keep up.

Hope you are well sweet one. Sounds like you have been out and about. I am always so tickled to see where you go and tag along.

We have had a couple of 115 degree days. Hot, Hot, and even Hotter. More than one can stand.

I think of you daily and smile in my heart. What a wonderful time we had in Maryland with Marydon and Harold. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

I'm a huge fan of "24" and Keifer S. DS and I watched it faithfully until it was cancelled. And of course I'm also a huge fan of Law & Order and The Good Wife. How awesome! Thanks for the visit and sweet comment!
