Inquiring Minds Want to Know...

...The Four Tops or the Temptations? What's your favorite group? Favorite song?

I know this is the upbeat blog, but it's tough these days. I look at the front page of the New York Times and am close to tears with the array of news presented. War, rumors of war, flood, quake and disaster...

So for this night I am going back to the '60s. I know I can't retreat there permanently, but I've been listening to some of my favorite music. I'm not brushing away my concerns and real life needs now, but I think we all can use a few minutes of fun.

Time travel back a few years might be a fun adventure and thanks for the light moments, because you are so right, the news is rough these days.

Yes we are surrounded by so much tragedy and aggression, one wonders where it is going to end. Music has a healing uplifting power, thank you for taking us back to some good times:)

In the midst of all the terrible things going on we still have many reasons to count our blessings every day. I cannot watch much of the news as it always dwells on what is wrong with the world. Retreats into music or good books is needed and I do that often. We must try to dwell on what is good and not the bad. With that said I do hope your Wednesday is a wonderful one!
