Soup's On

We went from blizzard to fifty degrees over the weekend to just cold today. It has become winter and we are in the heart of it and I am ready for winter foods. Some foods are especially made for certain seasons. Lemonade is summertime to me and soup is winter. I like soup all the time, but I love soup in the winter. I like to make soup, but when I buy it my favorite brands is Kettle Cuisine. It is both yummy and healthy and for folks who have gluten issues the Kettle Cuisine varieties are all gluten free. I am particularly keen on corn chowder, but I've tried three or four other varieties and they are all terrific.

I asked our friends at Kettle Cuisine if I could share my favorite brand of soup with Buttercupland and they very generously agreed. I have coupons for three free single-serve portions and I will be happy to send one each to the first three folks who post and let me know they would like to try Kettle Cuisine. The link lists places where you can buy this brand. Thanks, Kettle Cuisine. You will make three visitors to Buttercupland very happy.

It's tough to get back to routine after Christmas and New Year's and it was tough to get back to the work routine today. Got through today -- do we really have to work five days in a row?? -- and after work started my shopping for next year. Launched Christmas 2011 with very cute cookie cutters.

While it's tough to get back to work, it's always fun to spend time in Buttercupland. The company is the best. Happy new year hugs and good wishes!

I looked at where Kettle Cuisine is sold, and the store right around the corner from me has it! I'd love to try it. The corn chowder sounds wonderful.

I've never heard of Kettle Cuisine!
But I'm like you -- partial to certain types of foods at certain times of the year. 'Keep fixin' to break out the crock pot ... but what can I say? Great intentions.
I'd love a sample Buttercup; see, we could dine together in different places :)

Soup is definatately the order of the day at this time of the year. I don't think Kettle Cuisine is available over here, but I have a freezer full of home made soups so we are well catered for as we her back into healthy eating but with the comfort factor.

Hello! Have never heard of this brand. Making soup is almost a religious experience for me, as I adore the whole chopping thing, and of course, the dropping of the veggie tidbits to the waiting corgi kids who look like crocodiles, mouths open, looking up!

I'd love to try Kettle Cuisine as long as the sodium content is not too high. I avoid canned soup because of the high sodium in them. I'll have to check this brand's numbers the next time I'm in the supermarket. Thanks!
