From Times Square...

to your house,

Wishes for a bright and blessed New Year!

Times Square is in the distance. Yesterday I took this on my way to where I change subways in the morning. When you see the scene tonight on television there will be little or no snow.

We've got our blog party going. The music -- disco right now -- is playing and the pigs in blankets (little hot dogs in dough) are warming up. There's a big punch bowl waiting and all we need now is the guests. Welcome! Since we all can't be together in person we'll meet in Buttercupland. From New York to England and Wales to India and back to North America, with stops all over Canada and the United States, we've got the best company I can think of. I am counting all of my blessings for the wonderful people I've met this year in Blogland. Have a wonderful evening, dear friends, and wishes for good health, much happiness and joy and fun in the year to come. May dreams come true for all of us!

Happy New Year Buttercup Sweetie...
You are one of the many blessings that I am so thankful for in 2010. We got to meet in person, do a couple of day trips with My Sis, Marydon, and we shared laughter and tears. What a wonderful time we have had.

You have taken me to many places through your blog and picked me up when I was so down. I thank you for that sweet one. You are a true friend.

I am so enjoying the party. Can you pass me one of those little pigs in a blanket? I love those darn things. Heck we have plenty, just pass me a couple. I will sit here and visit with you, eat my little pigs in a blanket and enjoy this delightful punch.

You truly are the hostess with the mostess.

Many hugs sweetie and SO much love, Sherry

Happy New Year to you! We will be watching Times Square tonight on TV. I don't think I put in my order but Rotel & Velveeta dip are great for a party, too! Perhaps I will only eat it in my imagination though because it's not the healthiest even if it is yummy.

Hugs and Happy New Year Friend! I'm fixing hubby a steak for supper; no going out here, as we're snowed in good, and another storm starting! So he is very tired from plowing snow and being out in the cold, and then to think he'll have to do it all over again tomorrow. We got a good 12" yesterday, and another 7" expected! A great new year to greet us in a few hours, and wishing you the best this coming year, jo

Build me up, Buttercup!
It was a hit at the wedding last night as the bride danced on a chair and sang along to one of her favorite tunes. Smiles all over the place. Wonderful time for all. And you were there in our thoughts as they sang.
