On to Halifax...

and the beautiful village of Peggy's Cove.

We had a beautiful sunny day in Nova Scotia and I loved Peggy's Cove and its lighthouse. My only regret of the visit was we didn't get to COWS, one of the best ice cream stores anywhere. I discovered COWS during a vacation in Prince Edward Island three summers ago and hoped for an encore cone. Obviously I have to get back to the Maritimes soon!

The return to work week has been its usual hectic self and I'm enjoying a quiet Saturday morning very much. I have my bible study group this afternoon -- Samuel 2 -- and have plans for long walks, grocery shopping and cooking, maybe a movie, and definitely blog visiting. Wishes for a lovely, relaxed Saturday!

Hi Buttercup, you mentions Cows ice cream and show pictures of Peggy's Cove and I am homesick. It is our Thanksgiving weekend and I would love to be down home with my family. I love these pictures....:-) Hugs

Peggy's Cove as I think I said before was one of the lovliest places I visited on that first visit to Halifax...Actually it was the FIRST place I visited from Halifax !! It has not changed one iota in all these years. Thanks for bringing that wonderful day back

One place we keep saying we are going to, & never do, Carol. I love the northern lighthouses going up the coast but Nova Scotia always gets put on the back burner ... we are always more apt to go south, which we did last week.

I have missed you, think of you often & wonder did you rad the Children of Pride ... this is where we went in Savannah so Harold could see the museum, etc. It was an awesome experience which I will share sometime this week.

Have a great week ~
