Not Called on Account of Rain

What's a little rain -- or a lot of rain -- to an avid fan? I had my pink Yankees cap and my very thoughtful friend, Lynda, had a bright yellow poncho and we stayed for just about the entire game. I got to see a grand slam, which was a terrific thrill. I've been to other ball parks and I'd done a lot of work with traffic issues before this stadium opened, but this was my first time at this beautiful new stadium as a fan. Seats were comfortable (even in the less pricey section where we sat), food was yummy and there were more restrooms than I've ever seen before in a public facility. No lines, ladies!

It was a great day for this Yankee fan! Wishing you great days in the week ahead.

Gotta admit, I'm not a baseball fan -- but to see Yankee Stadium has to be a thrill. Glad to see this pictures!

WOW! I know that was a lot of fun!
PS: Loved "Jersey Boys" and my daughter was in NYC Friday night for "Wicked". (She loved it, too!) Hope it is beginning to feel a little like fall for you in The Big City.

I would love to see a baseball game, but my timing is out. I think we are about a month late with our holiday. Maybe next time...lol

Enjoyed seeing the pictures of the new stadium, I had not seen any before now. I always root for the Yankees when I watch baseball...which is not very often i must admit. No bathroom lines, that is just awesome!

Glad that you had a great time. It's always a good day when the line for the ladies' room is well..... not there!

No lines? That should be in their advertising slogan!

That made for a fun day for you! We have not gone to a game this year. Don't think we will make it to one. A game on the West coast that is. Most years we go to at least one game. Nice to have plenty of bathrooms!
