It's Turnip Eve

I am officially declaring tonight, May 5 as Turnip Eve. Tomorrow, May 6 will be a Buttercup Holiday, celebrated in all parts of Buttercupland. Tomorrow is Turnip Day! You ask how to celebrate...Be kind and think kind thoughts of turnips, parsnips and all other root vegetables and be happy for their presence and your presence in the world.
Hugs and blessings, turnips, parsnips and dear friends and readers!

We are from the same planet! I love yer humor.

That should scare you, badly.

Happy Turnip Day!!! Respect Your Roots!

I am SO glad you mentioned my dear friends the parsnips. So few even NOTICE them anymore, much less celebrate them! And I do hope that brave and tenderhearted kolrabi -- so little respected in this anti-root society -- are also included in the holiday.

Ah but I don't like the carrots...ok, the potato (is that considered part of the family?) is OK, but really the carrots...they get on my nerves :)

I'm pretty much sticking to turnips, parsnips and kohlrabi. Was waffling on sweet potatoes, and think carrots are pushing it. Of course, I'm not a big carrot fan, either.
