Valentine's Day Thoughts

Hearts and Flowers Week is officially over, but every day is a good day to celebrate the people in our hearts.

I took this photograph last week -- alas, it's not in my apartment now -- but thanks to the gift of photography I'm going to be enjoying it for a long time. I found it during one of my walks and the shop where I found it is part of a new phenomenon in the neighborhood, florists /coffee shops. I haven't sampled any of them yet, but look forward to a post soon. The nearest one is on my walk to the library and I expect to add it to my itinerary in the next week.

I had a fun Valentine's Day, with cards -- thank you, friends! -- calls, texts and emails. I didn't sample any chocolates, but need to keep up my willpower and avoid the half price sales in the drugstore. Always a temptation.

I've got a quiet week ahead. I'm getting to my final weeks of physical therapy and my last art class for this session on Friday. It's cold today (26 degrees), but the weather is predicted to be SIXTY on Thursday and I want to be out and walking.  I've got decluttering and want to get another bag of donations together. What are your plans?

As ever, thanks for visiting and have a sweet week.

Beautiful flowers!
Happy for you to have some warmer weather heading your way so that you're able to get outside and get some fresh air and sunshine :)

Smiles :)

It's to be a warmer day here in Ohio. Temps near 50 degrees out. There is going to be a lot of melting going on. i'M getting out to the grocery store and some walking myself. It'll be inside the store, but still walking is good for us. Glad you had a happy Valentines Day there. I still have enough candy on hand, I don't need to buy any more.

Beautiful flowers! Warmer here today in PA. It is so nice not to have to brace myself opening the door to let the dogs out! Have a cozy evening. : )

I love those flowers! It's good that you can still get out to walk around. The next few days here will be warmer and then back to the cold. Ah, but it is still winter! You have a super day, hug, Edna B.
