Pinterest HealthFest -- Good and Good for You!

And Me!

Last week's focus was vegetables and this week it's fruit. Unlike any laziness with veggies, I buy fruit all year round. Right now I have fresh clementines and bananas and frozen strawberries and pineapple. Most mornings I try to make a smoothy and I use a banana and at least one kind of frozen fruit. I add yogurt and juice and it's one of my favorite breakfasts. I feel good knowing I got at least two servings of fruit first thing in the day. 

I'm trying to replace my sugar tooth with a fruit tooth and this treat looked like a good replacement for times I have a craving.

What are your favorite fruits and fruit treats? Besides my smoothies, I like baked apples, frozen bananas and just about any kind of fresh fruit.

I have to have my banana every day. If I don't, I get leg cramps. I really love most all kinds of fruit and eat a lot of oranges, tangerines or clementines in the winter...need that extra vitamin C. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hm, I love fresh native nectarines in the summertime. And berries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries. I can make a meal out of them, easily!


Now that's a plate of goodies I could dig into. Looks scrumptious. ENJOY your daily intake. My favorite fruit is The Mango.

We got some red raspberries yesterday...can't wait to make them into something. Maybe we'll just eat them? Hard to say.

Is there really a frozen fruit bar like that? It's a pretty picture whether it is or isn't. I LOVE strawberries and bananas.
