It was a beautiful day in New York City today, sunny and not too hot. My wait for the bus was long and the book I was reading -- Pat Conroy's "South of Broad" http://www.patconroy.com/south-of-broad.php was too heavy to hold while I waited. It's a big week in Buttercupland. Tomorrow is the post for the biggest giveaway ever -- or at least thus far. By the end of the week I hope to post my thoughts on "South of Broad." Review sounds a little pretentious for this amateur reviewer, but as a hint, I think this book may rival "Prince of Tides," and that is a high compliment for me.
