Countdown to 1,000 Posts..."A Turtle's Tale 2" Giveaway


This is post #991 and I'm beginning a celebration month of giveaways. Thanks to our friends at Gaiam Vivendi I'm delighted to offer a giveaway for "A Turtle's Tale 2: Sammy's Escape from Paradise." I had the good fortune to have a giveaway -- again thanks to Gaiam Vivendi -- for "A Turtle's Tale," and am so glad to share another adventure of this lovable turtle. Sammy's tales are sweet, thoughtful and perfect viewing for rainy day or hot-hot-hot summer days. The DVD will be available on Tuesday, July 9th and I will announce our winner on the same day. This giveaway is limited to the US, but there will be others this month open to all. I was overwhelmed by the comments to my last post. Thanks and thanks! I had the MRI this morning and it went as well as a contrast -- I received dye so that there would be a clearer picture -- MRI could go. I'm not sure when I will get the results, though I am expecting it will be after the Fourth. I am optimistic and am so grateful for the many prayers and hugs.

The bathing suit, alas, was not a success. I definitely need to lose at least ten pounds to wear it. But that's a post for another day. My old suit will have to do for awhile. I do like to swim a lot and I'm looking forward to some pool time while I'm in Florida.

    Wow, 991 posts. That is a lot of writing. Congratulations!

    Waiting for results of tests is nerve wracking, but from my experiences, the results from an MRI come back quickly.

    Wow, you are very close to the 1000...woohooo! Congrats my friend! Imissed the "suit" post..going to have to go back and look it up..regardless..sorry! I am so glad the MRI went well. I hate those things.. the Last one I had made me so nervous..I felt so closed in...I am praying all goes well. Keep us posted. Happy Fourth! Blessings!

    I am not on Google+, but I think I follow your blog on Google Friend. I'm not sure, though. I'm a bit of a mess when it comes to understanding technology.:-)

    So glad the MRI is over. About the bathing suit, with all the activity you will be doing - - - walking, etc. - - without the stress of work - - - and time to eat healthy - - - the pounds will get gone. I am confident of that for you!

    I do follow all 3 ways. Here in Fl it tends to rain at least 4 afternoons a week so we do lots of crafts or watch a movie together.Thanks!
